The Jersey City Planning Board has approved plans for 792 Communipaw Avenue, a five-story residential building in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Studio A+M Architects and developed by Academy Capital, the 32,583-square-foot structure will yield 38 apartments, with four dedicated to affordable housing. The project will also include more than 2,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, with nearly 74 feet of frontage facing Communipaw Avenue. The 7,300-square-foot property is located by the corner of West Side Avenue.

In addition to residential space, the project is planned to contain a ground-floor restaurant, a parking garage, and amenities on the third story and roof level. The property comprises two narrow interior lots between East Park Street and Center Street.

Developers have secured $130 million in construction financing for The 360, a planned 13-story residential building at 350 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed in a joint venture between Shorewood Real Estate Group and Bogopa Enterprises, the 320,000-square-foot structure will yield 304 rental units. The project will also contain community facility space and 47,892 square feet of ground-floor retail that is pre-leased to Food Bazaar. Seventy-six of the residential units will be dedicated to affordable housing for households earning up to 60 percent of the area median income. The property is located between East 140th and 144th Streets.

Designed by Dattner Architects and developed by Phipps Houses, the 14-story structure will span 394,954 square feet and yield 327 affordable housing units, adding to the 840 affordable units in the first two completed phases. The project will also include a supermarket and other commercial and community facilities. The property is bounded by Atlantic Avenue to the south, Euclid Avenue to the east, and Chestnut Street to the west.
