Brooklyn Brewery has announced plans to relocate its flagship facility to 1 Wythe Avenue, a new mixed-use development in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The planned flagship will anchor the building, which is just four blocks north of the brewery’s current Williamsburg location.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Bayard, a six-story residential building at 150 Bayard Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Charles Mallea and developed by Solomon Feder, the structure yields 46 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 14 units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $47,520 to $187,330.
Excavation has begun at 30 India Street, a six-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by JWC Architect Engineer and developed by Titan Realty Construction, the 67-foot-tall structure will yield 52 rental apartments spread across 42,500 square feet, 3,500 square feet of commercial space, and 850 square feet of community facility space. YIMBY previously reported that Miriam and Ken Chan of 32 Tower LLC purchased the vacant property, which is located at the corner of India and West Streets, for $7.15 million in 2006.
Demolition is progressing on the Harte & Company warehouse at 14 Clay Street, the site of a potential 400-unit mixed-use development in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Developed by Dupont Street 1, LLC, the project will replace the derelict 91-year-old structure that has sat vacant since 2004 with a new building spanning up to 400,000 square feet with a residential component as well as 200 parking spaces, community facilities, and a grocery store. United Interior Service is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Clay Street to the north, Dupont Street to the south, and Franklin Street to the west.
Permits have been filed for a seven-story commercial building at 1 Wythe Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Bordered by Wythe Avenue to the northwest, Banker Street to the east, and North 15th Street to the southwest, the lot is near the Nassau Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Louis Handler of Keren Star is listed as the owner behind the applications.
