Construction has fully topped out on Terminal Warehouse, a seven-story commercial addition above a historic building at 261 Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed in collaboration by L&L Holding Company and Columbia Property Trust, the building will comprise 1.3 million square feet of Class-A office and retail space.
A former church and women’s home at 539 West 54th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, will soon be replaced by a 21-story residential tower designed by GF55 Architects. The first rendering of the forthcoming structure was revealed by Excel Development Group earlier this week along with construction permits filed with New York City’s Department of Buildings.
Aurora Capital Associates and William Gottlieb Real Estate have shared new interior renderings for The Keller, a seven-story residential building at 150 Barrow Street in Manhattan’s West Village. Designed by BKSK Architects, the building contains 24 condominiums and a suite of amenity spaces. Compass Development Marketing Group and the Hudson Advisory Team are the exclusive sales and marketing team for The Keller.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced a $7.6 million fund that will help animal shelters and humane societies across the state complete renovation, expansion, and construction projects. Known as the New York State Companion Animal Capital Fund, the funding will support 21 shelters and societies, including two in New York City and four in Long Island.
A residential conversion of the Hudson Hotel will move forward following the acquisition of a $100 million financial package from Northwind Group. Located at 358 West 58th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, the existing 878-key hotel will be redeveloped to support 441 rental apartments and more than 50,000 square feet of retail space. CSC Coliving, repeat Northwind Group borrowers, will oversee the conversion of the property, which is situated between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, just southwest of Columbus Circle and Central Park.
