At number four on YIMBY’s annual countdown of the tallest construction projects in New York is 520 Fifth Avenue, a 1,002-foot mixed-use supertall skyscraper in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Rabina, the 88-story structure will span 415,000 square feet and yield 100 condominium units, a residents-only amenity floor on level 88, 25 boutique office floors, a private members-only club called Moss, and four cellar levels. The property is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and West 43rd Street, one block north of Bryant Park.

Designed by C3D Architecture and developed by Sioni Group under the 989 Sixth Realty LLC, the 68-story structure will span 384,118 square feet and yield 300 condominium units with an average scope of 991 square feet, as well as 86,817 square feet of commercial space and two cellar levels. Construction could soon begin on 70 Hudson Yards, a proposed 47-story office skyscraper in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. The 1.1-million-square-foot structure is being designed by Roger Ferris+ Partners and Gensler and developed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties, which are currently in discussions with potential tenants. The 12th-tallest building on our annual construction countdown is Hotel Meta, a 642-foot-tall hotel at 450 Eleventh Avenue in Hudson Yards. Designed by DSM Design Group and developed by Marx Development Group, the 51-story structure will yield 379 guest rooms and amenities including a business center, a ballroom, banquet and conference spaces, a spa, fitness center, and a multi-level restaurant with a bar and outdoor terrace. The property will be operated by Marriott Hotels and is located at the corner of West 37th Street and Eleventh Avenue, directly across from the Jacob K. Javits Center.
