Exterior Work at 100 Franklin Street Nears Completion in Tribeca

Exterior work is wrapping up on 100 Franklin Street in Tribeca, a residential building designed, developed, and built by DDG. The intricate 200-foot-long stretch of hand-laid Petersen Tegl bricks that enclose the main six- and eight-story eastern profile is complete, revealing a number of subtle and distinctive details. The development is located in the Tribeca East Historic District on a narrow triangular property and yields a total of ten full-floor residences. Douglas Elliman is in charge of sales for the units, which range from 1,427 to 3,673 square feet.

E.Cobb Architects Updates Proposals for Tribeca Mega-Mansion at 11 Hubert Street

The Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) will again review proposals to construct a 20,000-square-foot private residence at 11 Hubert Street in Manhattan’s TriBeCa West Historic District. Designed by E. Cobb Architects, this iteration of proposals includes updates to the structure’s glass facade, ground-floor privacy paneling, and cornice materials.

E. Cobb Architects Updates Design of Tribeca Mega-Mansion At 11 Hubert Street

E. Cobb Architects has again presented proposals to the Landmarks Preservation Commission for a hulking private residence at 11 Hubert Street in the Tribeca West Historic District. The design team was commissioned by an unnamed private client to design a five-story single-family structure on the corner of Hubert and Collister Streets.

E Cobb Architects has presented updated designs for a sprawling private residence at 11 Hubert Street in the Tribeca West Historic District to the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission for approval. The private client commissioned the firm to reimagine designs originally completed by architects Maya Lin and William Bialosky.

YIMBY’s Annual Construction Countdown Begins With 45 Park Place in Tribeca

YIMBY is counting down the 31 tallest skyscrapers under construction in New York City. Our annual list looks at projects that made a substantial amount of progress since the beginning of 2019. We start with 45 Park Place, a 43-story reinforced concrete superstructure topped out at 667 feet tall above the Manhattan neighborhood of Tribeca. The modestly slender skyscraper is designed by SOMA Architects with Ismael Leyva Architects serving as the executive and residential architect. The property is being developed by Sharif el-Gamal of Soho Properties. The Piero Lissoni-designed interiors are being handled and marketed by Corcoran Sunshine.

111 Murray Street’s Public Plaza Nears Completion in Tribeca

The plaza at the base of 111 Murray Street is getting close to completion in Tribeca. The 10,000-square-foot public park sits to the east of the main entrance of the 792-foot-tall residential skyscraper, which was completed in 2018. The 64-story glass tower is designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and Hill West Architects. Witkoff Group and Fisher Brothers are the two developes. Plaza Construction is the main contractor and DeSimone is the structural engineer, and marketing and sales for the residential units are being handled by Douglas Elliman.

56 Leonard’s Sculptural Bean by Anish Kapoor Begins Installation in Tribeca

Work on 56 Leonard Street‘s amorphous mirrored “bean” sculpture has begun. The artwork sits at the base of Tribeca‘s tallest residential skyscraper designed by Herzog & de Meuron and Hill West Architects, and is the work of Anish Kapoor, the creator behind Chicago’s chrome steel-plated Cloud Gate and the ArcelorMittal Orbit from the 2012 London Summer Olympics. Construction workers are beginning to place the first portions of the bean into position with multiple sections arriving on site.

Construction Wraps on Tribeca Rogue at 108 Chambers Street in Tribeca

Construction has wrapped up on 108 Chambers Street in Tribeca. The ground-up condominium project, now called “Tribeca Rogue,” is located on a narrow 1,963-square-foot lot at the corner of Church Street. All the scaffolding has now been removed and glass panels have replaced the orange construction netting found along the terrace railings. Designed by Woods Bagot Architects and developed by Greystone Development, the reinforced concrete structure contains eight full-floor residences and one- to three- bedroom homes that begin at $2.95 million. Ryan Serhant of The Serhant Team is in charge of sales and marketing, which launched earlier this year.

91 Leonard Street Opens for Occupancy in Tribeca, Manhattan

Buyers are now moving into a newly complete condominium building at 91 Leonard Street in TriBeCa, Manhattan. The structure was completed earlier this year by Toll Brothers City Living, the urban development division of Toll Brothers, Inc.

GF55 Partners Releases Updated Renderings of 31 Lispenard Street in TriBeCa

GF55 Partners and Urban Standard Capital have revealed detailed renderings of both interior and exterior components of 31 Lispenard Street in Tribeca. The project team first appeared before the Landmarks Preservation Commission to facilitate construction of the seven-story building located on the corner of Church and Lispenard Streets. If approved, the structure is expected to comprise 12,603 square feet. This includes ground-floor retail spanning 1,031 square feet and 10,362 square feet of residential area above.
