Renderings Reveal Seven-Unit Passive House at 465 Washington in Tribeca

Curbed has revealed renderings for the 10-story, seven-unit condominium building at 465 Washington Street, in northern Tribeca. The building will meet Passive House standards, and Zakrzewski + Hyde Architects is developing and designing. The project is an expansion of the old five-story building and has been planned for a few years.

Two-Family Building Planned for 146-51 Beech Avenue in Flushing

The property owner of 146-51 Beech Avenue, in the western half of East Flushing, has filed applications for a two-story, two-unit residential building measuring 1,950 square feet. Yu Lei Pan, of G. Plan Design & Consulting Inc., is the architect of record, and that portion of the lot is currently vacant.



Coliseum Redevelopment

Ratner Plans 3.4 Million Square-Foot Commercial Project at Nassau Co.’s Coliseum Site

Developer Bruce Ratner has revealed his plans to redevelop Nassau County’s Coliseum site in Uniondale, on Long Island. Plans call for the renovation of the stadium, which will seat 13,000, and 3.4 million square feet of office, retail and hotel development, reports the LI Herald. On the west end of the site, two four-story office buildings will line the street. At the north and south ends, nine-story hotel buildings are planned, and construction is slated to begin in August.
