Rendering Reveals Filmology Labs Conversion of Reinhardt Building At 61 State Street in Paterson, New Jersey

A new rendering has been revealed for Filmology Labs: Content Creation Studios, a planned conversion of a historic silk mill into a film and digital studio at 61 State Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Designed by Conrad Roncati of Architectura and developed by media entrepreneur Alam Mruvka, the 250,000-square-foot complex will contain 21 production sound stages with pre-built standing sets. The property, which is also known as the Reinhardt Building and the Padded Wagon Building, occupies a full block bounded by 20th Avenue to the north, 21st Avenue to the south, Gray Street to the east, and State Street to the west.

212 Culver Avenue Readies for Spring Groundbreaking in Jersey City, New Jersey

Construction is set to break ground this spring on 212 Culver Avenue, an eight-story residential building in Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by MVMK Architecture and developed by Tay Investments, the structure will yield 365 rental units. The project will also include 1,550 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a 184-vehicle parking garage. The property is located at the corner of Culver and Mallory Avenues.

1 Mallory Avenue Completes Construction in Jersey City, New Jersey

Construction is complete on 1 Mallory Avenue, a seven-story residential building in the West Side neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey. Developed and built by MYHomeJC, the structure yields 44 rental units in studio- to two-bedroom duplexes. The project also includes a parking garage and a suite of amenities. The property is located at the intersection of Mallory Avenue and Fisk Street.

Harborside 4 Breaks Ground at 20 Columbus Drive in Jersey City, New Jersey

Construction is underway on Harborside 4, a 55-story residential skyscraper at 20 Columbus Drive in downtown Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Handel Architects and developed in a joint venture between The Related Companies, Modon Holding, and Panepinto Properties, the structure will yield 800 units, with 600 rentals and 200 condominiums. The project will also include 12,000 square feet of retail space split into three separate storefronts, and a collection of residential amenities. The property is bounded by Christopher Columbus Drive, Greene Street, Hudson Street, and Pearl Street.

Developer Secures Financing for Industrial Facility at 249 Pomeroy Road In Parsippany, New Jersey

Developed by The Gomes Group under the A&R Limited Capital LLC, the structure will yield 225 rental apartments, with 20 percent reserved for affordable housing. The project will also include ground-floor retail and a suite of residential amenities. The property is alternately addressed as 330–338 Mulberry Street and is bounded by Oliver Street, Mulberry Street, East Kinney Street, and McCarter Highway.

Renderings Revealed for Three New Residential Projects in Newark, New Jersey

Renderings have recently been revealed for three new low- and mid-rise projects in Newark, New Jersey. Though more modest in scale than many of the large projects transforming the city and its skyline, they nonetheless represent an encouraging sign of growth and will create much-needed new housing for the region. The projects are located in the Ironbound and University Heights districts.

Fifth Residential Phase Reaches Completion At Centurion Union Center In Union, New Jersey

Construction is finished on 968 Bonnel Court, a five-story residential building in the Centurion Union Center mixed-use community in Union, New Jersey. Designed by Commito Associates and developed by Landmark, the structure yields 85 one- and two-bedroom units along with a collection of amenities. The building is the fifth phase of the complex, which is planned to introduce 363 new apartments and approximately 32,000 square feet of retail space along Stuyvesant Avenue.

Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed in a joint venture between SK Development and the Berger Organization, the structure will yield 396 rental units. The project will also include 4,800 square feet of retail space and 106 parking spaces. The property is located in a Qualified Opportunity Zone near the intersection of Fulton and Broad Streets.

GN Management Acquires Harborside 9 Development Site In Jersey City, New Jersey

GN Management, a Jersey City-based real estate firm, has acquired full ownership of the Harborside 9 development site in Jersey City. The acquisition, finalized through affiliate and intercompany transfers, included the remaining ownership interest held by Panepinto Properties, a longtime developer in the area. The transfer marks a key milestone for the future 57-story tower, a major component of the city’s growing waterfront development.
