Façade Installation Continues on 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Façade installation is continuing on the Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion, a 15-story medical facility for Lenox Hill Hospital at 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ennead Architects and developed by Northwell Health and The University Financing Foundation, the 215-foot-tall structure will yield 200,000 square feet of outpatient treatment space for specialized cancer care services, imaging and lab testing, cardiac care, neuroscience programs, a sleep study center, acute and chronic disease management, social work services, and more. The $450 million project is located in Lenox Hill between East 76th and 77th Street.

Construction Underway at North Brunswick Logistics Center At 2 King Arthur Court In North Brunswick, New Jersey

Construction is underway at the North Brunswick Logistics Center, a new industrial facility at 2 King Arthur Court in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Developed by the Silverman Group, the 162,657-square-foot structure is being custom built to serve as US Pharma Lab’s third New Jersey location, and is expected to be completed in fall 2025.

The Cedar Tower Wraps Up Construction at 60 Cedar Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Construction is wrapping up on The Cedar Tower, an 18-story residential building at 60 Cedar Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by S. Wieder Architects and developed by Louis Handler of BTE, the 197-foot-tall structure yields 145 rental units with 42 dedicated to affordable housing, as well as a 490-square-foot ambulatory health facility. The property is situated on an interior lot between Myrtle Avenue to the north and Evergreen Avenue to the south.

651 4th Avenue Nears Completion in South Slope, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 651 Fourth Avenue, an 11-story residential building in South Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by INOA Architecture and developed by New Leaf Development, the structure will span 34,680 square feet and yield 26 condominium units with an average scope of 1,237 square feet, as well as 2,270 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 450 square feet for a small healthcare facility. The property is alternately addressed as 183 20th Street and located at the corner of 4th Avenue and 20th Street.

Sutphin Senior Residence’s Façade Takes Shape at 97-04 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens

Façade work is taking shape on Sutphin Senior Residence, a 15-story all-affordable housing building at 97-04 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, Designed by Bernheimer Architecture and developed by affordable housing developer Breaking Ground under the BG Sutphin Owner LLC, the structure will yield 173 apartments reserved for low-income seniors, including 52 supportive units for older formerly homeless adults with serious mental illness or substance use disorder. The remaining 121 units will be designated for adults aged 62 years or older, earning 50 percent or less than the area median income. The building will also contain a 15,000-square-foot health center operated by the Community Healthcare Network on the ground and cellar levels. The property is located at the intersection of Sutphin Boulevard and 97th Avenue.

11 and 55 Gerry Street Wrap Up Construction in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 11 and 55 Gerry Street, a two-building residential complex in the Broadway Triangle section of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by Rabsky Group, the project consists of the ten-story 11 Gerry Street, which stands 105 feet tall, and the eight-story 55 Gerry Street, which stands 85 feet tall. Both structures span around 160,000 square feet and yield a combined 106 residential units. Both will also include ground-floor retail space and ambulatory diagnostic centers on their second stories. 11 and 55 Gerry Street are alternately addressed as 322-330 and 352 Wallabout Streets and occupy a trapezoidal plot bound by Harrison Avenue to the northeast, Wallabout Street to the northwest, Gerry Street to the southeast, and the confluence on Marcy and Union Avenues to the west.

Curtain Wall Installation Nears Completion on The Hospital For Special Surgery’s Expansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

The glass curtain wall has reached the roof parapet of The Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Tower, a 12-story waterfront expansion of the Hospital For Special Surgery at 535 East 70th Street in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by EwingCole, the $200 million addition will span 100,000 square feet directly over FDR Drive and connect the main hospital wing to the south via a sky bridge. The property is located between East 71st and 72nd Streets.

1522 First Avenue’s Façade Nears Completion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Façade installation is nearing completion on 1522 First Avenue, a 30-story medical office building in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by Extell, the 449-foot-tall structure will yield 400,000 square feet of Class A office space and retail space on the ground floor and cellar levels. The Hospital for Special Surgery will serve as the anchor tenant, occupying 200,000 square feet across the first eight stories of the building. The property is alternately addressed as 403 East 79th Street and is located between East 79th and 80th Streets.

Schwarzman Animal Medical Center Opens Surgical Care Facility in Lenox Hill, Manhattan

Construction is complete on the Denise and Michael Kellen Institute for Surgical Care at Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, a veterinary hospital at 510 East 62nd Street in Lenox Hill, Manhattan. Designed by Perkins + Will, the new 7,000-square-foot facility features five operating rooms, a minor procedure room, a recovery room, and a central sterile center.
