500 Avenue At Port Imperial

Financing Secured For 364-Key Hotel Project At Port Imperial Ferry Terminal, Weehawken

Roseland, a branch of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, has landed $94 million to build a 364-key hotel development at 500 Avenue At Port Imperial, in Weehawken, New Jersey. According to Real Estate Weekly, the project will include a 210-key Renaissance hotel and a separate 154-key Residence Inn, both to be operated by Marriott. The hotel will be built atop an existing multi-level parking garage, and 15,000 square feet of outdoor space is planned on the sixth floor. Completion is expected near the end of 2017.

11-Story, 77-Room Hotel Filed At 37-17 12th Street, Long Island City

Wil Ni, doing business as an anonymous LLC, has filed applications for an 11-story, 77-key hotel at 37-17 12th Street, in Ravenswood, an industrial neighborhood in northern Long Island City. The building will measure 25,040 square feet, which means rooms will average a relatively accommodating 325 square feet apiece. Manhattan-based Morali Architecture is the applicant of record, and two existing single-family townhouses must first be demolished.

Nine-Story, 155-Key Hotel Conversion Planned At 60 West Street, Greenpoint

Pearl Realty Management has filed applications to convert the vacant eight-story warehouse at 60 West Street, in southern Greenpoint, into a 155-key hotel. The building will gain a ninth floor and commercial operations will encompass 84,419 square feet of the building, which includes ground-floor retail and a restaurant. FXFowle Architects is the applicant of record, and the building suffered from a fire in 2006.

20-Story Mixed-Use Building Nears Topping Out At 265 State Street, Boerum Hill

Back in July, YIMBY brought you a construction update on the 20-story project under construction at 265 State Street, in Boerum Hill. Since then, The Boerum has risen from four to 17 stories, as seen in the latest photos by Tectonic. Cladding installation has also begun on the lower levels. The building will have ground-floor retail space, a hotel on floors one through six, and 128 condominiums up top. Flank is designing and co-developing with the Carlyle Group, and completion is expected in 2016.
