Façade installation is nearing completion on the dual-brand Marriott Hotel at 140 West 28th Street in Chelsea. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect for the McSam Hotel Group, the tower stands 470 feet tall and will contain 531 guest rooms spanning 173,000 square feet. Omnibuild is in charge of the construction process for the 46-story structure, which will house both a TownePlace Suites and a Springhill Suites.

Façade work is nearing completion at 305 West 48th Street, a 303-foot-tall hotel in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Gene Kaufman and developed by Bright Management with Rockwell Group as the interior designer, the structure stands 27 stories and will contain 211 hotel rooms. The project site is located at the corner of West 48th Street and Eighth Avenue, conveniently close to the Times Square and the Theater District.

Exterior work is moving along at 12 East 48th Street, a 367-foot-tall Hilton Grand Vacation Hotel in Midtown East. The 125,000-square-foot tower is designed by Handel Architects and developed by Hidrock Realty and will contain 161 guest rooms. Desimone Consulting Engineers is the structural engineer, The Rinaldi Group is the general contractor, and IBA Consulting & Engineering, PLLC is the envelope consultant for the edifice.
