Bloom on Forty Fifth At 500 West 45th Street Nears Completion in Hell’s Kitchen

Construction is nearing completion on Bloom on Forty Fifth , a 92-unit residential building located at 500 West 45th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, is nearing the end of construction. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Xin Development International, the property is located between West 44th and West 45th Streets on a plot formerly occupied by a gas station. Kuafu Properties is the project manager and Leeding Builders Group is overseeing construction on the project. The property was formerly addressed as 615 Tenth Avenue.

305 West 48th Street’s Exterior Nears Completion In Hell’s Kitchen

Façade work is nearing completion at 305 West 48th Street, a 303-foot-tall hotel in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Gene Kaufman and developed by Bright Management with Rockwell Group as the interior designer, the structure stands 27 stories and will contain 211 hotel rooms. The project site is located at the corner of West 48th Street and Eighth Avenue, conveniently close to the Times Square and the Theater District.

Façade Work Appears Stalled at 611 West 56th Street in Hell’s Kitchen

Work appears to have stalled on 611 West 56th Street, aka 823 Eleventh Avenue, a 450-foot-tall condominium building in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza with SLCE as the architect of record and developed by Sumaida + Khurana and LENY, the 37-story tower will yield 80 units designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates.

Permits Filed for 777 Eighth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Permits have been filed for a 23-story hotel at 777 Eighth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Located between 47th Street and 48th Street, the interior lot is two blocks south of the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the A, C, and E trains and one block west of the 49th Street station, serviced by the N, R, and W trains. Also within walking distance is Times Square and the Port Authority transit hub. McSam Hotel Group under the TSGL 8th Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The West’s Façade Continues Installation at 547 West 47th Street in Hell’s Kitchen

Exterior work is progressing on The West, a 12-story residential building at 547 West 47th Street in Hell’s Kitchen. Located between West 47th Street and West 48th Street, the 201,000-square-foot project is designed by Concrete and developed by Ironstate Development, CB Developers, and SK Development Group, which purchased the property for $93 million in the summer of 2018. The developers are aiming for LEED certification.

Permits Filed for 410 West 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Permits have been filed for a seven-story, two-family residential building at 410 West 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Located between Ninth and Tenth Avenues, the lot is one avenue west of the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the E train. Reza Garakani of Gallahad Realty Corp, listed as the owner behind the applications, previously filed permits in 2019 for a four-story, four-unit project on the same site in 2018.

400 West 57th Street Awaits Future Renovations and Revival in Hell’s Kitchen

400 West 57th Street is an old architectural gem that stands at the western corner of West 57th Street and Ninth Avenue in the Manhattan neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen. The eight-story edifice, although worn out and in need of restoration, features a beautiful fenestration of red and white brick masonry, gently bulging bay windows, arched casements, a handsome cornice with one pediment on the northern roofline, and a number of detailed running bonds showing the intricate hand laid craftsmanship. This was formally called The Windermere but has been left to deteriorate since the end of the 20th century.

611 West 56th Street’s Limestone Panels Begin Reaching Skyward, in Hell’s Kitchen

Curtain wall installation has begun at 611 West 56th Street, aka 823 Eleventh Avenue, a 37-story condominium building in Hell’s Kitchen. Located near the Hudson River at the northwestern corner of West 56th Street and Eleventh Avenue, the 450-foot-tall project is designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza and is being developed by Sumaida + Khurana and LENY, with SLCE as the architect of record. Gabellini Sheppard Associates is in charge of interior designs for the 80 units.

547 West 47th Street, aka The West, Tops Out In Hell’s Kitchen

Construction has topped out at The West, a full-block residential development at 547 West 47th Street in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Concrete and developed by Ironstate Development, CB Developers, and SK Development Group, the 12-story structure spans 30,000 square feet. The rectangular lot, which is located between West 47th Street and West 48th Street, was purchased for $93 million in the summer of 2018. Concrete also did the interior design.

441 West 37th Street Nears Topping Out In Hell’s Kitchen

Construction is getting close to topping out at 441 West 37th Street, an 11-story mixed-use residential building in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen. Happy Living Development is developing the property with DLJU Architects as the architect of record and Adele Schachner Architecture + Interiors as the interior designer.
