Permits have been filed for an 11-story commercial building at 167 Plymouth Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Jay Street and Plymouth Street, the corner lot is also address as 29 Jay Street. Three blocks north is the Jay Street subway station, serviced by the F train. Edward J. Minskoff Equities under the Jay Street Office LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
At the beginning of this year, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced a major redevelopment initiative for the area surrounding New York City’s Pennsylvania Station. Referred to as the “Empire State Complex,” the project team is now completing a final scope of work, which will take into consideration the many comments received from community activists, experts, and officials since a scoping meeting on July 20, 2020.
An unnamed developer has proposed an exterior restoration of a low-rise building at 134 Greenpoint Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The structure is located within the Greenpoint Historic District which will require strict approvals from the Landmarks Preservation Commission for any construction to commence.
The City of Yonkers is set to launch one of its largest investment initiatives to transform the downtown center into a vibrant mixed-use hub of commerce and residency. New developments will be primarily located at the confluence of the Hudson and Saw Mill Rivers.
