DHA Capital To Develop Mixed-Use Building At 75 Kenmare Street, Nolita

DHA Capital is in contract to purchase the three-story parking garage located at 75 Kenmare Street, in Nolita, for roughly $50 million, according to Bowery Boogie. The new owner plans to develop a 68,000 square-foot mixed-use building featuring luxury residential units and retail space. Most units will measure closer to 1,000 square feet, smaller than other new-construction condos in the area, according to The Real Deal, who was also the first to report the news.



334 West 36th Street

Façade Being Preserved At 334 West 36th Street, Site Of 28-Story, 566-Key Hotel, Garment District

Prolific hotel developer Sam Chang has revised plans for a proposed hotel development at 334 West 36th Street, in the Garment District. Previous plans called for the demolition of the existing six-story Christ Church, but now the structure and its façade are being incorporated into the new development. According to The New York Times, the hotel will stand 28 stories, and DOB permits now show 566 hotel rooms. This is an increase from earlier applications, which called for 20 stories and 406 rooms.



Lenox Terrace Rezoning

Rezoning Process Begins For Harlem’s Lenox Terrace Tower-In-The-Park Complex

The Olnick Organization has filed pre-applications with the city, beginning the ULURP process that would rezone Lenox Terrace, a tower-in-the-park development bound by West 132nd and 135th Streets, and Malcolm X Boulevard and 5th Avenue in central Harlem. According to DNAinfo, the complex has six 17-story towers, which make up 1,700 residential units, and nearly 96,600 square feet of commercial space is located within perimeter low-rise buildings.
