Work is nearing completion on a two-story penthouse addition atop Manhattan’s historic Textile Building at 295 Fifth Avenue in Midtown South is nearly complete. Designed by Studios Architecture, the 34,000-square-foot penthouse will contain a mix of collaborative workspaces and several landscaped terraces.
New renderings have been revealed for 164-168 West 136th Street, an eight-story residential building in Central Harlem. Designed by Tectus Design and developed by Haussmann Development and Coltown Properties, the structure will yield 21,885 square feet and 27 rental units, as well as amenities including a residential lounge, a rear yard, and a fitness center. The development site is an assemblage of lots located between Adam Clayton Powell Jr and Malcolm X Boulevards.
Construction is now underway on 282-286 Grand Street, a seven-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The will yield a mix of rental apartments, amenity spaces, and commercial space.
Permits have been filed for a 13-story mixed-use building with affordable housing at 746 East 5th Street in Alphabet City, Manhattan. Located between Avenue C and Avenue D, the lot is near the Delancey Street-Essex Street subway station, serviced by the F, J, M, and Z trains.
