Rose Hill’s Art Deco-Inspired Exterior Wraps Up Construction in NoMad, Manhattan

Exterior work is wrapping up on Rose Hill, a 639-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 30 East 29th Street in NoMad. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by Rockefeller Group, the 45-story project features a distinctive bronze-toned, Art Deco-inspired envelope and will yield 123 condominiums marketed by CORE Real Estate. Sales have launched for the homes, which come in one- to four-bedroom layouts and range in price from $1.385 million to upward of $19.5 million for the penthouse unit. Rose Hill’s name is derived from the former 130-acre Rose Hill Farm estate that was once part of the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood.

YIMBY has exclusive new renderings for an upcoming 21-story mixed-use project at 335 Fifth Avenue in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of NoMad. Designed by Raymond Chan Architect PC and developed by James and Jerry Pi of Pi Capital Partners, the 72,000-square-foot building will yield 83 rental apartments above 10,000 square feet of commercial retail space, with the latter component spanning three stories at the base. The corner site is located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and East 33rd Street, directly to the east of the Empire State Building.

Exterior work is still wrapping up on Madison House, an 805-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 126 Madison Avenue in NoMad and number 13 on our countdown of the tallest projects under construction in the city. Alternately addressed as 15 East 30th Street, the 62-story tower is designed by Handel Architects and developed by Fosun Group and JD CarlisleDouglas Elliman is handling sales and marketing of the 199 condominiums, which will all sit atop an additional 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
