Madison House’s Façade Approaches Completion with Podium Underway at 126 Madison Avenue in NoMad, Manhattan

Construction is getting closer to completion on Madison House, an 805-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 126 Madison Avenue and the tallest structure in the Midtown district of NoMad. Alternately addressed as 15 East 30th Street, the slender 62-story tower is designed by Handel Architects and developed by Fosun Group and JD Carlisle and will yield 199 condominiums with sales and marketing led by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, as well as 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property is located along Madison Avenue between East 30th and 31st Streets.

Exterior Work Progresses on 7-9 East 30th Street in NoMad, Manhattan

Construction has topped out on 7-9 East 30th Street, a 227-foot-tall residential building in NoMad. Designed by SWA Architecture and developed by Castellan Real Estate Partners, the 23-story project will yield a total of 41,992 square feet split among 54 residences and 2,142 square feet of ground-level retail space. The property is located between Madison and Fifth Avenues.

Fifth Avenue Hotel’s Renovated Façade Revealed at 250 Fifth Avenue in NoMad, Manhattan

Exterior work is progressing on The Fifth Avenue Hotel at 250 Fifth Avenue in NoMad. Designed by Perkins Eastman, PBDW Architects, and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and developed by Flaneur Hospitality, the project involves the construction a 230-foot-tall, 24-story tower and the renovation of the adjacent 116-year-old McKim, Mead & White-designed building.

16 East 30th Street Wraps Up Construction in NoMad, Manhattan

Construction is wrapping up on 16 East 30th Street, a 22-story hotel in NoMad. Designed by Brooklyn-based firm Baobab Architects and NAA, the 37,000-square-foot structure stands 225 feet tall and will yield 102 guest rooms. The building rises from a small parcel between Madison and Fifth Avenues, next to a multi-story parking garage and adjacent to the base of Sky House, a slender residential skyscraper completed in 2008.

Le Meridien Nears Completion at 292 Fifth Avenue in NoMad, Manhattan

Construction is nearing completion on the Le Meridien Hotel, a 21-story mixed-use tower at 292 Fifth Avenue in NoMad. The 187-key hotel rises 21 stories tall on a plot between West 30th and West 31st Streets, and is designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by McSam Hotel Group, which purchased the site for approximately $42.4 million in March 2017.

Virgin Hotel’s Exterior Nears Completion at 1225 Broadway in NoMad, Manhattan

Exterior work is nearing completion on the 476-foot-tall Virgin Hotel at 1225 Broadway in NoMad. Designed by Stantec and developed by Lam Group, the 38-story tower will yield 300,000 square feet and 460 hotel rooms managed by Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group. The property is located between West 29th Street and West 30th Street and will be the first Virgin Hotel establishment in New York City.

30 East 31st Street’s Façade Wrapping Up Installation in NoMad, Manhattan

Exterior work is now nearly complete on 30 East 31st Street, a 39-story, 479-foot-tall residential building in NoMad. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate, the slender reinforced concrete tower will yield a total of 70,000 square feet and 42 units marketed by Reuveni Real Estate. Each of the homes will average 1,700 square feet and range in price from $1.65 million to upward of $12 million.

Concrete and Glass Façade of SOM’s 1245 Broadway Continues Progress in NoMad, Manhattan

Façade work is shaping up on 1245 Broadway, a 23-story office building in NoMad. Designed by Skidmore Owings and Merrill and developed by GDSNY and Sweden-based Klovern, the 318-foot-tall building will yield 200,000 square feet of commercial space with with leasing managed by CBRE. StructureTech NY and Triton Construction are in charge of constructing the project, which stands at the corner of West 31st Street and Broadway.

Alternately addressed as 15 East 30th Street, the 62-story reinforced concrete edifice is designed by Handel Architects and developed by both Fosun Group and JD Carlisle. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling sales and marketing of the 199 condominiums, which will sit atop an additional 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Ritz Carlton’s Exterior Continues to Shape Up at 1185 Broadway in NoMad, Manhattan

Façade work is getting closer to completion on the NoMad Ritz Carlton, a 580-foot-tall hotel skyscraper at 1185 Broadway. Designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by Marriott, Ritz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties, the 40-story tower will yield 250 guest rooms across 150,000 square feet at the corner of Broadway and West 28th Street.
