Madison House’s Façade Approaches Completion with Podium Underway at 126 Madison Avenue in NoMad, Manhattan

Construction is getting closer to completion on Madison House, an 805-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 126 Madison Avenue and the tallest structure in the Midtown district of NoMad. Alternately addressed as 15 East 30th Street, the slender 62-story tower is designed by Handel Architects and developed by Fosun Group and JD Carlisle and will yield 199 condominiums with sales and marketing led by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, as well as 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property is located along Madison Avenue between East 30th and 31st Streets.

Exterior work is progressing on The Fifth Avenue Hotel at 250 Fifth Avenue in NoMad. Designed by Perkins EastmanPBDW Architects, and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and developed by Flaneur Hospitality, the project involves the construction a 230-foot-tall, 24-story tower and the renovation of the adjacent 116-year-old McKim, Mead & White-designed building.

16 East 30th Street Wraps Up Construction in NoMad, Manhattan

Construction is wrapping up on 16 East 30th Street, a 22-story hotel in NoMad. Designed by Brooklyn-based firm Baobab Architects and NAA, the 37,000-square-foot structure stands 225 feet tall and will yield 102 guest rooms. The building rises from a small parcel between Madison and Fifth Avenues, next to a multi-story parking garage and adjacent to the base of Sky House, a slender residential skyscraper completed in 2008.
