The affordable housing lottery has launched for 293 and 301 Hooper Street, two six-story residential buildings in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The buildings were built in the 1910s and have 35 residential units each. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 11 recently renovated units for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $43,303 to $112,800.

Updated Renderings Showcase River Ring, BIG’s Two-Skyscraper Development in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

New renderings have been released for River Ring, Bjarke Ingels Group‘s proposed two-skyscraper development in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Developed by Two Trees Management, the organization behind Domino Park, the undertaking is planned to yield 1,050 homes with 263 affordable housing units as well as a six-acre circular waterfront park designed by James Corner Field Operations. The towers would rise from two vacant rectangular parcels that were once home to a Con Edison electric plant bound by North First Street, North Third Street, and River Street. River Ring is expected to generate about 2,000 construction jobs and more than 500 well-paying permanent jobs upon completion.

Affordable Housing Lottery Launches for Debevoise Senior Housing in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery has launched for Debevoise Senior Housing, an eight-story residential building at 40 Debevoise Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The 55,158-square-foot development is being constructed through the Senior Affordable Rental Apartments and Inclusionary Housing Programs of the New York City Housing Preservation & Development and will yield 65 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 44 units for residents at 50 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $0 to $51,200.
