Joseph Brunner and Abe Mandel are set to acquire the single-story warehouse buildings spanning 296-306 Wythe Avenue, in western Williamsburg, two blocks in from the East River, for roughly $27 million. The developers plan to build a residential development on the site, featuring retail space on the ground floor. When the sale closes, the transaction would be a price record in the neighborhood at nearly $700 per buildable square foot.

An LLC has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential building at 267 Ainslie Street, in eastern Williamsburg, two blocks south of the L’s Graham Avenue stop. The structure will measure 5,000 square feet in total, which works out to units averaging roughly 835 square feet in size. An existing two-story, 1,650 square-foot townhouse must first be demolished, and Woody Chen’s InFocus is the applicant of record.

Spitzer Enterprises’ 24-Story Rental Towers Revealed At 420 Kent Avenue, Williamsburg

In December 2014, YIMBY reported on filings for mid-rise residential towers at 420 Kent Avenue, in western Williamsburg on the East River, and now The New York Times has renderings of Spitzer Enterprises’ development. The ODA-designed project will include three 24-story towers totaling 856 rental units and a public park. Filings show the buildings will also have retail space, and low-rise warehouse buildings must first be demolished.
