The superstructure of the 21-story, 183-room mixed-use building at 55 Wythe Avenue, in Williamsburg, is currently rising, Brownstoner revealed. Dubbed The William Vale, the development will also include retail and office components. Riverside Developers expect to complete the project by 2016, and Albo Liberis is designing.
Two weeks ago, YIMBY revealed this design for an expansion at 555 Grand Street in Williamsburg, and now we have the rendering for another addition down the block, at 629 Grand Street between Leonard Street and Manhattan Avenue. Plans were filed last year to expand the four-story, mixed-use building to five stories and add four apartments to its existing three units.
Brownstoner reports construction is in full swing at 95 South 5th Street, in western Williamsburg, where Horrigan Development has planned a six-story, 23-unit mixed-use building incorporating the façade of the former three-story townhouse. The project was revealed by YIMBY last Fall, and construction is now a few floor ups. Standard Architects is designing.
Brownstoner spotted renderings posted on-site at 59-63 North 6th Street, in Williamsburg, where a single-story, 7,500 square-foot commercial building is planned, and was filed with the DOB last November. The development site is vacant, and excavators are on site, so completion can be expected by 2016 if work begins imminently. Flushing-based Victor K. Han is designing.
