The site is five blocks away from Hewes Street, serviced by the J, M, and Z trains, and six blocks away from the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the L and G trains. GW Union LLC is listed as behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 56 Ainslie Street, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The project is part of a larger trend of redevelopment in an area west of Union Avenue, bordered by Borinquen Place, the BQE, and Metropolitan Avenue. The proposed building would be two blocks away from the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the G and L trains. Big Apple Designers is behind the applications.
As construction continues on one of the city’s largest waterfront developments, YIMBY took a tour of 325 Kent Avenue, ahead of Domino Park’s opening on June 10th. Once it opens, the park is expected to be the largest public space in the Five Boroughs to debut in 2018.
