New Rendering Revealed For 366 Bond Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn

A new rendering has been revealed for 366 Bond Street, a proposed eight-story affordable housing complex for senior citizens in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Shakespeare Gordon Studio, the structure is planned to yield 121 low-income homes along with a 25,586-square-foot community facility on the ground floor. The roughly 42,000-square-foot property is bound by Carroll Street to the north, 1st Street to the south, and Bond Street to the east.

New 20-Year Lease Signed for 7 Times Square In Midtown, Manhattan

Apparel holding company KnitWell Group has signed a 20-year lease extension for 246,000 square feet at 7 Times Square, a 47-story office skyscraper in Times Square, Manhattan. The lease will expand the company’s existing 191,000-square-foot presence in the building by two additional full floors. Designed by SOM and developed by Boston Properties, the 724-foot-tall structure spans 1.25 million square feet and is located at West 42nd Street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue.

Permits Filed for 45 Cleveland Place in Concord, Staten Island

Permits have been filed for St. John Villa, a five-story middle and high school facility at 45 Cleveland Place in Staten Island’s Concord neighborhood. Located north of the intersection between Cleveland Place and Garson Avenue, the lot is close to the Verrazano Expressway. NYC School Construction Authority is listed as the owner behind the applications.

New Rendering Revealed For 2,000-Unit Residential Skyscraper At 100 Gold Street in Financial District, Manhattan

A new rendering has been revealed for 100 Gold Street, a proposed residential skyscraper in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative, the structure is planned to yield 2,000 apartments and will replace a nine-story office building from the 1960s that houses several city agency headquarters. The rendering was revealed in Mayor Eric Adams’ State of the City address last Thursday, as part of his “Manhattan Plan” initiative to bring 100,000 new housing units to the borough over the next ten years. The site is bound by Frankfort Street to the north, Spruce Street to the south and east, and Gold Street to the west.

Redesign Revealed For 26 North Street in Bayonne, New Jersey

A new rendering has been revealed for the redesign of 26 North Street, a forthcoming 14-story residential building in Bayonne, New Jersey. Designed by MHS Architecture and developed by The L Group and Cali Futures, LLC, the 174-foot-tall structure will span 569,115 square feet and yield 500 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts with an average scope of 749 square feet, as well as 6,929 square feet of ground-floor retail space, 16,369 square feet of indoor-outdoor amenities, and enclosed parking for 455 vehicles and 266 bicycles. The nearly 2-acre property is bound by North Street to the north, Route 440 to the south, and a one-story commercial building to the east.

Services For The Underserved Renovating Four Tenement Buildings In Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Services for the Underserved (S:US) is in the process of renovating four neglected tenement buildings at 351-357 West 45th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. The organization purchased the properties in June for $20 million following years of tenant protests and legal action due to dangerous living conditions, and is refurbishing them for affordable housing. The buildings are located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

New permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 40 Kossuth Place in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Bushwick Avenue and Broadway, the lot is one block east of the Kosciuszko Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Michael Kandinovo of 40 Kossuth Place LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications. Previous permits by Omni Build called for a 62-foot-tall building designed by Zproekt.

Brick Façade Reaches Pinnacle of 300 East 50th Street in Midtown East, Manhattan

Façade installation has reached the top of 300 East 50th Street, a 23-story residential building in the Turtle Bay section of Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by MAG Partners in collaboration with Global Holdings, KRW Realty Advisors, Krown Point, and Safanad, the 275-foot-tall structure will span 170,000 square feet and yield 194 units, with 30 percent allocated to affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space, a cellar level, and a 30-foot-long side yard. 300 East 50th Street Owner LLC is listed as the owner and Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the southeast corner of Second Avenue and East 50th Street.

136-15 38th Avenue Appears Stalled in Flushing, Queens

Work appears stalled on 136-15 38th Avenue, a nine-story mixed-use building in Flushing, Queens. Designed by Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects Studio for W H Plaza LLC, the 105-foot-tall structure will span nearly 24,000 square feet and yield ten condominium units with an average scope of 1,730 square feet, as well as 8,220 square feet of commercial space, 4,884 square feet of community facility space, and a 29-foot long rear yard. The property is located on an interior lot between Main Street and 138th Street.
