New Rendering Revealed For 83 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

A new rendering has been revealed for 83 Wythe Avenue, a forthcoming four-story commercial building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Archimaera Architecture and developed by Double U Development, the 84-foot-tall structure will yield 88,680 square feet of commercial space. The building will also feature three rooftop terraces on floors two through four, a cellar level, three loading berths, and 164 enclosed parking spaces. The property is bound by Wythe Avenue and the Brewers Row section of North 11th Street.

Hartz Mountain Industries has announced the launch of leasing for The Reserve at Estuary, a 218-unit rental development located at 1525 Harbor Boulevard in Weehawken, New Jersey. Designed by MHS Architecture, the seven-story development completes the redevelopment of Weehawken’s waterfront, capping a 40-year effort to convert the former industrial zone into a mixed-use destination with residential, commercial, and public space.

Curtain Wall Installation Begins on Rolex USA Headquarters at 665 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan

Façade installation has begun on 665 Fifth Avenue, the 28-story US headquarters for Rolex in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by David Chipperfield Architects and developed by the Rolex Realty Company, the 469-foot-tall structure will yield 199,000 square feet of office and retail space for the world-famous watchmaker. Adamson Associates is the architect of record and Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 53rd Street.

NYPD Opens New World Trade Center Command Facility At 27 Cliff Street In Financial District, Manhattan

The New York City Police Department has opened a new World Trade Center (WTC) Command facility at 27 Cliff Street in Manhattan’s Financial District, replacing its previous headquarters at 16 Ericsson Place. Overseen by the NYPD’s Intelligence and Counterterrorism Bureau, the new facility was established to better support the unit responsible for safeguarding the 16-acre WTC campus. The project was completed in coordination with the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) and various city real estate partners.
