Douglaston Development has launched leasing at 3Eleven, a 60-story residential skyscraper at 311 Eleventh Avenue at the convergence of West Chelsea and Hudson Yards. Designed by FXCollaborative, the 695-foot-tall structure yields 938 units with 703 market-rate rentals and 235 homes reserved for affordable housing. Move-ins are expected to commence this fall.
KPMG will soon relocate its headquarters to Two Manhattan West, a new 58-story office skyscraper in Midtown West, on the edge of Hudson Yards. At 450,000 square feet, the transaction is the largest office deal to close in New York City this year.
After leasing launched last month for LYRA, Rockrose‘s newest rental building in Hudson Yards is now 30 percent leased. Designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners with SLCE Architects and interiors by MdeAS Architects, the 590-unit development at 555 West 38th Street is filling up at record speeds. Residences range from studios to two-bedroom units with rents ranging from high $3000s to high $8000s.
Construction is wrapping up on Lyra NYC, a 52-story residential skyscraper at 555 West 38th Street in Hudson Yards. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Rockrose, the 570-foot-tall tower will yield 598 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts. Site C GC is the general contractor for the property, which is located along Eleventh Avenue between West 38th Street and West 39th Street, directly across from the Jacob K. Javits Center.
Construction is closing in on completion on 50 Hudson Yards, a 58-story commercial supertall in Hudson Yards and the final component of the first phase of the master plan. Designed by Foster + Partners and developed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties, the 1,011-foot-tall skyscraper will yield 2.9 million square feet of office space, making it the largest building by volume in the complex. ArcelorMittal provided the steel components, Langan Engineering is the civil and environmental engineer, and WSP is the structural and MEP engineer for the property, which occupies a full block bound by West 34th Street to the north, West 33rd Street to the south, Tenth Avenue to the east, and Hudson Boulevard to the west.
