Ritz Carlton Continues to Rise at 1185 Broadway in NoMad

Construction is approaching the final floors of the NoMad Ritz Carlton Hotel. Located at 1185 Broadway at the northern intersection of West 28th Street, the reinforced concrete structure will soon top out at 580 feet tall, yielding 150,000 square feet and 250 guest rooms. The 40-story skyscraper is designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by MarriottRitz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties. The interiors are being designed by Yabu Pushelberg.

Rose Hill’s Curtain Wall Continues to Rise at 30 East 29th Street in NoMad

Work is moving along on Rose Hill, where the majority of the curtain wall has been installed on the northern elevation of the NoMad residential skyscraper. Only the upper floors, crown, and ground floor have yet to be enclosed in the tower’s signature Art Deco-inspired finish. Located at 30 East 29th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue, Rose Hill stands 639 feet tall and will yield 123 condominiums marketed by CORE Real Estate. The 45-story building is designed by CetraRuddy Architecture for Rockefeller Group.

Work Nears Completion at 10 East 30th Street in NoMad

The final exterior touches and glass panels are going in at 10 East 30th Street. The ground-up project rises just over 200 feet tall and will open as a new 20-story hotel in the Manhattan neighborhood of NoMad between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue. The reinforced concrete superstructure is covered with a dark exterior on the eastern and western elevations, while a glass curtain wall covers the stepped northern facade and flat southern profile. The upper floors have a mix of sloped glass and setbacks that will make room for outdoor terraces for some of the hotel rooms. Brooklyn-based firm Baobab Architects is the designer of the project.

30 East 31st Street’s Terracotta Cladding Reaches Lattice Crown in NoMad

The terracotta paneling is rising up the slender façade of 30 East 31st Street in NoMad and has reached the lattice crown of cross beams at the top of the reinforced concrete superstructure. Located between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, the 39-story, 479-foot-tall residential tower is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and is being developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate. Reuveni Real Estate is marketing the building’s 42 units, which will be spread across just over 70,000 square feet for an average of 1,700 square feet apiece. Prices range from $1.65 to $12 million.
