New Rendering Released for The Fifth Avenue Hotel at 250 Fifth Avenue in NoMad

Developer Flaneur Hospitality recently revealed renderings and a new name for 250 Fifth Avenue. Now known as “The Fifth Avenue Hotel,” the NoMad project is being designed by Perkins Eastman, PBDW Architects, and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and involves the restoration of a 115-year-old former bank designed by McKim, Mead & White, and the construction of an adjacent 230-foot-tall, 24-story ground-up building.

YIMBY Scopes The Views From The Top of Madison House, Nomad’s New Tallest Tower

YIMBY recently went on a hard-hat tour of Madison House, aka 15 East 30th Street The slender 805-foot-tall tower is topped out as the tallest skyscraper in NoMad, standing 62 stories tall, and creates a distinct multi-pointed crown and silhouette on the Midtown skyline. The residential building is designed by Handel Architects, while Fosun Group and JD Carlisle are responsible for the nearly 300,000-square-foot development. Douglas Elliman is handling sales and marketing.

20-Story Hotel at 10 East 30th Street Nearing Completion in NoMad

Construction crews are putting the final exterior touches on 10 East 30th Street, a new 20-story hotel located in NoMad between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue. The reinforced concrete structure was shrouded in a thick layer of netting during its construction, but this has recently been removed revealing a sleek glass curtain wall. The upper floors have a mix of sloped glass and setbacks that may make room for outdoor terrace space. Baobab Architects is the designer of the project.

250 Fifth Avenue Addition Tops Out at 23 Stories in NoMad

The 23-story reinforced concrete structure at 250 Fifth Avenue has topped out in NoMad. The 230-foot-tall hotel tower is located along West 28th Street directly adjacent to an 111-year-old McKim, Mead & White-designed five-story building with a landmarked façade. PBDW Architects and Perkins Eastman are the designers of the addition, which is being developed by Flaneur Hospitality.
