Work Nears Completion at 10 East 30th Street in NoMad
The final exterior touches and glass panels are going in at 10 East 30th Street. The ground-up project rises just over 200 feet tall and will open as a new 20-story hotel in the Manhattan neighborhood of NoMad between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue. The reinforced concrete superstructure is covered with a dark exterior on the eastern and western elevations, while a glass curtain wall covers the stepped northern facade and flat southern profile. The upper floors have a mix of sloped glass and setbacks that will make room for outdoor terraces for some of the hotel rooms. Brooklyn-based firm Baobab Architects is the designer of the project.
