Renderings from C3D Architecture reveal a new, eight-story condominium property at 66 Clinton Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The building will marketed as Sixty Six Clinton when complete.
Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 5055 Broadway in Inwood, Manhattan. Located between West 215th and West 216th Streets, the interior lot is one block west of the 215th Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. The Department of Housing Preservation and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Exterior work is progressing on Era, a 20-story condominium building at 251 West 91st Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by ODA Architects and developed by Adam America Real Estate and Northlink Capital, the reinforced concrete edifice features a dramatic stepped cantilever and will yield 57 residences at the corner of 91st Street and Broadway. Reuveni Real Estate is exclusively handling the marketing and sales and Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for the project.
Construction is nearing topping out on Turken House, a 21-story mixed-use building at 300 East 41st Street in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of Murray Hill. Designed by Perkins + Will for a non-profit company called The Turken Foundation, which provides Turkish students with help obtaining scholarships and job opportunities in the United States, the nearly 80,000-square-foot structure will stand 227 feet tall and yield 82 turnkey residences with both single- and double-occupancy quarters. The ground-up edifice is located at the corner of East 41st Street and Second Avenue, near both the United Nations and Grand Central Terminal, and was previously the site of two low-rise properties that were purchased for a combined $17.5 million prior to demolition. Turken House is aiming for LEED Certification with a program goal of LEED Silver Certification. Fast Track Construction is listed as the general contractor for the project.
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has completed its latest affordable homeownership program in Brooklyn. Known as the Blake Hendrix project, the initiative introduces 30 new residential properties scattered across 13 different sites in East New York.
