The Riff Hotel in Chelsea has been sold for $27.5 million, and developers hope to build a new 12-story mixed-use building in its place. The site is a block away from Penn Station with access to subways, the LIRR, and Amtrak. Eastern Star Development purchased the site from Salt Equities.
Located in College Point, the northeastern boundary of Queens, a new four-story, mixed-use structure will take shape at 21-06 College Point Boulevard. Designed by Dezhang Fang of Fang Architects, the building will contain residential, commercial, enclosed parking, and community oriented areas following the demolition of an existing one-story structure.
Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 2760 Fulton Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. The site is one block away from the Van Siclen Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. Dianping Chen is listed as responsible for the development.

Thanks to a YIMBY reader, we have a first look at schematics for 85 Jay Street, in DUMBO, Brooklyn. The site comprises a massive 21-story mixed-used project being developed by Kushner Companies, LIVWRK, and CIM Group. The elevation reveals a full-block development with a central courtyard and two towers rising from the southwest and northeast corners.
