Affordable housing may grow on two empty lots near the elevated subway tracks in Longwood, a neighborhood in the southeastern Bronx. Plans were filed yesterday to erect a seven-story apartment building at 917 Westchester Avenue and a six-story one at 940 Rogers Place, around the corner from the Intervale Avenue stop on the 2 and 5 trains.
In September, developer Moshe Braver filed to expand a 19th century warehouse at 296 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg into a six-story, mixed-use building. Now YIMBY has a rendering for the project, which is being designed by Karl Fischer.

A seven-story residential building is coming to the heart of East Williamsburg, on Montrose Avenue between Humboldt Street and Avenue of Puerto Rico. New building applications were filed Tuesday for the project at 172 Montrose Avenue, a block and a half from the Montrose Avenue L stop.
