The affordable housing lottery has launched for Two Blue Slip, aka 41 Blue Slip, a 40-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Park Tower Group and Brookfield Property Partners, the Greenpoint Landing waterfront structure yields 421 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 127 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $81,258 to $192,400.

One Boerum Place Nears Completion in Downtown Brooklyn

Exterior work is nearing completion on One Boerum Place, a 22-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Avery Hall InvestmentsAllegra Holdings, and Aria Development Group, the $250 million project will yield 96 apartments designed by Gachot Studios. Nancy Packes, Inc. has launched leasing for the homes, which range from one- to four-bedroom layouts with access to a wide range of amenities. One Boerum Place is bound by Boerum Place to the west, Fulton Street to the north, and Red Hook Lane to the east.

Construction began last week on 722 Chancellor Avenue in Irvington, New Jersey. Developed through a partnership with The NRP Group and northern New Jersey developer Adenah Bayoh, the five-story building will add 56 affordable housing units to the community. OCA Architects is responsible for the design of the mid-rise, energy-efficient development.
