This week, Turner Construction hoisted the final steel beam into place on St. John’s Terminal, Google’s 1.3-million-square-foot addition to its Hudson Square campus at 550 Washington Street. Designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by Oxford Properties Group, the 12-story building spans two full city blocks, with 100,000-square-foot floor plates, a rare scope for commercial buildings in Manhattan.

Located between Irving Avenue and Wyckoff Avenue, the lot is one block from the Halsey Street subway station, serviced by the L train. The Horizon Group under the Horizon at 391 Weirfield LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications. In September the development company filed permits for a five-story residential building at 378 Weirfield Street.

Located at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and 4th Avenue, the corner lot is steps from the Prospect Avenue subway station, serviced by the R train. Yoel Werzberger under the Watermark Capital LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Façade work is shaping up at 37 Sixth Avenue, a 26-story, 343,788-square-foot residential building in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Alternately addressed as 495 Dean Street and 664 Pacific Street, the project is designed by Marvel Architects and The Brodsky Organization and will add 323 rental units to the Pacific Park master plan. The site is located between Dean Street and Pacific Street, directly across from Barclays Center and 18 Sixth Avenue, another residential project underway in the neighborhood.
The affordable housing lottery is now open for 45-57 Davis Street, a nine-story mixed-use development in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by J Frankl/Charles Mallea and developed by Solomon Feder of Velocity Framers USA, the 145,000-square-foot will yield a total 158 units in a mix of studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 48 apartments for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $73,920 to $183,300.
