The Jersey City Planning Board unanimously approved plans to construct a 60-story mixed-use tower at 400-420 Marin Boulevard. Led by G&S Investors, the tower is the latest component of Jersey City’s Hudson Exchange redevelopment plan that aims to invigorate the area with big-box and local retail, quality housing, and entertainment destinations in an area surrounding the Harsimus Cove Light Rail station.
The William Macklowe Company and Senlac Ridge Partners have secured $142.9 million to complete a new mixed-use complex in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Located at 120 Fifth Avenue, the development will comprise two individual buildings with 180 rental units, amenity spaces, a CVS Pharmacy, and the borough’s first Lidl Supermarket.
Construction is now underway at 500 Main Street, the site of a 26-story mixed-use tower in New Rochelle. Designed by Niles Bolton Associates and developed by BRP Companies and the Urban Investment Group of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the downtown project will yield 620,000 square feet with 477 rental apartments, a church, retail space, and a parking garage with electric vehicle charging stations.
Grid Group and Lekas Realty have closed on a $32 million construction loan to complete a high-rise affordable housing property in West Harlem. Located at 1440 Amsterdam Avenue, the property will top out at 26 stories and yield 393 rental apartments, an Associated supermarket on the ground floor, and an enclosed parking garage. The latter includes roughly 120 rent-restricted units, 25 percent of which will be prioritized for current NYCHA residents.
Extell Development Company has closed on $425 million construction loan to complete a mixed-use high-rise at 1520 First Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The 30-story building will include a mix of medical and commercial office space with frontage along East 80th and East 81st Streets.
