The progress across Billionaire’s Row has been significant in recent months. Today, YIMBY has an update on Midtown’s new terracotta masterpiece, for which sales are starting, and the latest photographs show that construction has officially reached supertall heights. JDS Development and Property Markets Group are behind the project.

A new entrance officially opened yesterday for the famous Midtown supertall, designed to accommodate the large number of visitors and create a more engaging experience.
Permits have been filed for a sixteen-story mixed-use building at 300 West 30th Street, in Midtown, Manhattan. The site is on the corner of 30th Street and 8th Avenue, a block from the southwest corner of Penn Station, and two avenues away Hudson Yards. Hiwin USA group is listed as responsible for the development.
Permits have been filed for a 22-story commercial office building at 1241 Broadway in Midtown, Manhattan. The architect of the project will be Skidmore Owings & Merrill, who arguably have had the largest impact on New York City’s built environment compared to any other firm. First formed in 1939, they specialize in high-end office space, like the soon-to-be tower in today’s post.
Located at 292 Fifth Avenue, between West 30th Street and West 31st Street on the edge of NoMad and Koreatown, a new hotel is now rising quickly above ground level. Its architect is Gene Kaufman, designer of the world’s tallest Holiday Inn down at 99 Washington Street in the Financial District, and renderings have also now been posted on-site.
