Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Rabina, which took over from Ceruzzi Properties and SMI USA in 2019, the 1,000-foot-tall skyscraper will yield 507,608 square feet with 98 residential units, as well as commercial space on the lower floors and four cellar levels. WSP is the structural engineer, DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant, and Suffolk Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and West 43rd Street, one block north of Bryant Park.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by Solow Management Corp., the tower will rise along Billionaires’ Row between Fifth and Sixth Avenues and West 56th and 57th Streets.
Construction has risen above street level on 125 West 57th Street, a 26-story commercial building along Billionaires’ Row in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy Properties ABR Partners and Cain International, the 440-foot-tall structure will yield 185,000 square feet of Class A office space and a new ground-floor home for the Calvary Baptist Church, which has operated on the site since 1883. Leading Builders Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues between Christian de Portzamparc‘s One57 and SHoP Architects‘ 111 West 57th Street.
On Friday, April 28, the Tiffany & Co. flagship store reopened its doors to the public at 727 Fifth Avenue after a four-year renovation and structural expansion project in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by OMA partners Shohei Shigematsu and Jake Forster with interiors by Peter Marino Architects, the undertaking involved the construction of a new three-story volume above the parapet of the 83-year-old building and the gut renovation of 8,400 square feet of its interiors. Now rebranded as “The Landmark,” the commercial property’s modernization was reportedly the largest single-store investment to date by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (LVMH), the company’s owner and majority stakeholder. CallisonRTKL was the architect of record, WSP was the structural and MEP engineer, and Structure Tone was the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 57th Street along Billionaires’ Row.
Construction has reached the second setback on JPMorgan Chase‘s 1,388-foot supertall headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in Midtown East. Designed by Lord Norman Foster of Foster + Partners with Adamsom Associates as the architect of record and developed by Tishman Speyer, 70-story skyscraper will yield 2.5 million square feet of office space with a capacity of 15,000 employees, and will become the tallest structure in New York completely powered by hydroelectric energy. Adamson Associates is the architect of record, Banker Steel provided the steelwork, NYC Constructors is the steel subcontractor, Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers (MRCE) designed the structural foundation elements, Severud Associates is the engineer of record, R&R Scaffolding Ltd. will provide the BMU, New Hudson Facades is supplying the curtain wall, and AEOCOM Tishman is the general contractor for the property, which occupies a full city block bound by East 48th Street to the north, East 47th Street to the south, Park Avenue to the east, and Madison Avenue to the west.
