Construction is getting closer to completion on 101 West 14th Street, a 13-story residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Alternately addressed as 531 Sixth Avenue, the reinforced concrete structure is designed by ODA Architecture and developed by Gemini Rosemont and will yield 44 condominium units as well as 5,830 square feet of ground-floor retail space for two tenants. Residential sales launched last year and are being led by Ryan Serhant of Nestseekers International’s Serhant Team, with prices starting at $1.35 million for one-bedroom units. Whitehall Interiors is in charge in interior designs and New Line Structures is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the northwest corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue, just above the border with Greenwich Village.
Exterior work is progressing on FÖRENA, a 12-story residential building at 540 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Landsea Homes and DNA Development, the 80,000-square-foot reinforced concrete structure will yield 50 units in one- to three-bedroom layouts marketed by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman. Ryder Construction Co. is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue.
An extensive renovation of the historic ‘Lever House’ in Midtown East officially kicked off this week. Valued at $100 million, the project aims to transform and modernize the commercial property into a boutique office tower, while also restoring areas of the building that have not withstood the tests of time.
Two Manhattan West, a 58-story commercial tower, has officially topped out in Midtown West. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the 935-foot-tall, 2-million-square-foot skyscraper is the final component in Brookfield Properties’ five-building Manhattan West complex, and stands directly to the south of its 996-foot-tall fraternal twin, One Manhattan West.
Construction is wrapping up on 7-9 East 30th Street, a 227-foot-tall residential building in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of NoMad. Designed by SWA Architecture and Efrain Perez, and developed by Castellan Real Estate Partners, the 23-story reinforced concrete edifice will yield 41,992 square feet with 54 residences and 2,142 square feet of ground-level retail space. The property is located between Madison and Fifth Avenues and is being built by Titanium Construction Services Inc.
