A new rendering has been revealed for 509 Third Avenue, a 35-story residential project underway in the Murray Hill section of Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Kevin Lalezarian under the Third and Thirty Four LLC, the 386-foot-tall structure will yield 299 residential units at the corner of Third Avenue and East 34th Street.
Sales have officially launched for Minrav Development’s VU, aka 368 Third Avenue, a new 36-story condominium building located on Third Avenue between East 26th and East 27th Streets. The 145,000 square foot tower is designed by SLCE Architects, and is situated in Kips Bay, near NoMad, Gramercy, and Flatiron. Paris Forino designed the interiors of the project, and is also behind the full floor of vitality and wellness-driven amenities. Within, there will be 100 residences, ranging from studios to three-bedrooms, and duplex penthouses. Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is exclusively handling the marketing and sales.
The Department of Buildings has awarded Norman Foster’s 425 Park Avenue a temporary certificate of occupancy, or TCO, signaling imminent completion of the commercial skyscraper in Midtown East. From developers L&L Holding Company, Tokyu Land Corporation, and co-managing partner BentallGreenOak, the 47-story office tower comprises around 667,000 square feet.
Exterior work is nearing completion on Graydon Chelsea, a 16-story residential building at 128 West 23rd Street in Chelsea. Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects and developed by Valyrian Capital and Pan Brothers, the 40,230-square-foot structure will yield 30 units, averaging 1,200 square feet apiece. The property is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
The first steel beams of JP Morgan Chase‘s 1,425-foot supertall have begun to rise at 270 Park Avenue as work continues on the demolition of its 52-story former headquarters in Midtown East. The new steelwork is being assembled on the Madison Avenue-facing side of the parcel, where a low-rise podium once stood, while the main 707-foot-tall skyscraper formerly known as the Union Carbide Building continues its descent toward Park Avenue. The new tower will eventually span the entire block between East 47th and 48th Streets from Park to Madison Avenues and yield 2.5 million square feet of office space.
