Putnam County-based Nush Rudaj has filed applications for a six-story, 14-unit residential building at 3323 Sedgwick Avenue, in Kingsbridge Heights, five blocks from the 1 train’s stop at 231st Street. The building will measure 9,915 square feet in total, which means units will average 708 square feet, indicative of rentals. Long Island-based Shahriar Afshari is the architect of record. The existing single-story brick home was filed for demolition this past June.

Great Neck-based Shelter Rock Builders has filed applications for a three-story, three-unit residential building at 1067 Teller Avenue, in Concourse Village, four blocks from the Melrose Metro North station, or nine blocks from 167th Street stop on the B and D trains. The townhouse-style building will measure just 3,271 square feet, and full-floor units will average 1,090 square feet apiece. Queens-based Gerald Caliendo is the architect of record, and site’s former three-story building was demolished in 2001 by the HPD.

Property owner Yair Bohadana has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 1173 Tinton Avenue, in Morrisania, six blocks north of the Prospect Avenue stop on the 2 and 5 trains. The building will measure 5,324 square feet, which means units will average a rental-sized 665 square feet apiece. Queens-based Gerald Caliendo is the architect of record, and the site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in 2001.

The building will measure just 4,223 square feet, and will include 1,425 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Above, full-floor residential units will average 1,400 square feet, indicative of condos, which would be big news for this part of the Bronx. Long Island-based Shahriar Afshari is the architect of record, and the corner lot comes vacant.
