Construction is nearing completion on Bloom on Forty Fifth , a 92-unit residential building located at 500 West 45th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, is nearing the end of construction. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Xin Development International, the property is located between West 44th and West 45th Streets on a plot formerly occupied by a gas station. Kuafu Properties is the project manager and Leeding Builders Group is overseeing construction on the project. The property was formerly addressed as 615 Tenth Avenue.

Affordable Housing Project Announced for 2856 Webster Avenue and 410 Bedford Park Boulevard in The Bronx

Earlier this week, the New York Botanical Gardens and Douglaston Development announced a collaboration to complete two new affordable housing projects in The Bronx’s Bedford Park. The buildings will take shape near the northwest corner of the New York Botanical Gardens at 2856 Webster Avenue and 410 Bedford Park Boulevard.

Renderings from Studio St Architects reveal a new 19-story tower located at 347 West 34th Street on the eastern edge of Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Described as a “SynaCondo,” the building’s typology will incorporate a portion of the existing West Side Jewish Center with a condominium volume above.

110-112 Liberty Street Awaits Excavation in the Financial District

Excavation has yet to begin for 110-112 Liberty Street, a 20-story hotel in the Financial District. Located between Liberty Street and Thames Street directly south of Four World Trade Center, the project is designed by Stonehill Taylor Architects and is being developed by Eddie Hidary of Hidrock Properties, which acquired the site for approximately $38.5 million in 2018.

The rising reinforced concrete edifice is eventually going to culminate at a 570-foot-tall roof parapet and become a residential skyscraper in Hudson Yards. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and developed by Rockrose with SLCE as the architect of record, there will be a total of 52 floors and 598 rental units. The property is found along Eleventh Avenue between West 38th Street and West 39th Street and is directly across from the Jacob K. Javits Center.

Yonkers IDA Votes for $72 Million Development Project in Ravine Neighborhood

A block in the Warburton Ravine Urban Renewal Area of Yonkers will soon see a significant overhaul thanks to the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency (IDA). On September 4, the IDA gave preliminary approval of financial incentives for a $72 million development known as Point & Ravine Apartments, developed through a public partnership between the City of Yonkers and developer Conifer Realty LLC. Construction costs are estimated at $43.4 million and land acquisition at $8.24 million.
