The industrial no man’s land along Johnson Avenue in Bushwick is about to become very hip, between both a huge retail redevelopment planned near the Morgan L stop, and now, a nightclub conversion with a rooftop bar, planned for a warehouse at 599 Johnson Avenue, near the Ridgewood border.
Property owner Ashourzadeh Manny, doing business under 501 EMR LLC, has filed applications for a six-story, 14-unit mixed-use building at 503-505 Grand Street, in central Williamsburg. Measuring a total 11,720 square feet, commercial space will take up 2,630 square feet, and the remainder will be residential. BMG Design Build is designing, and a three-story townhouse must first be demolished.
An LLC has filed applications for two four-story, two-unit mixed-use buildings spanning the lots 20-26 Marcy Avenue, in central Williamsburg. The four residential units will be dividing nearly 6,800 square feet of residential space, and a combined 3,940 square feet of commercial space will span the development. KMP Design and Engineering is designing, and a single-story warehouse must first be demolished.
