Renovation work is complete on the Whitehall Building, a 31-story mixed-use building at 17 Battery Place in Manhattan‘s Financial District. Designed by GACE and Thornton Tomasetti and developed by the Moinian Group, the two-year project focused on the restoration of the building’s Renaissance Revival exterior to the historical conditions of its completion in 1910. Yates Exterior Restoration Services was the contractor for the property, which is located at the intersection of Battery Place and West Street.

Encore Completes Construction at 325 Huguenot Street in New Rochelle, New York

The building is located at the corer of Huguenot Street and Centre Avenue, directly north of its sister property, 3THIRTY3, at 333 Huguenot Street.

Renderings Revealed For 20 Long Slip in Jersey City, New Jersey

New renderings have been released for 20 Long Slip, a proposed 50-story residential skyscraper along the Hudson River waterfront in the Newport section of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Arquitectonica with Hill West Architects as the architect of record, the 526-foot-tall structure will yield 529 apartments and 2,364 square feet of retail space on the lower floors. Dresden Robin is the civil engineer and landscape architect for the property, which is currently occupied by an open-air parking lot at the end of Park Lane North, with the Hudson River and dog run to the east, Washington Boulevard and 18th Street to the west, and the rail lines for the Hoboken-Bergen Light Rail system to the north.

LPC Reviewing Façade Renovation Proposal For 83-85 Chambers Street In Tribeca, Manhattan

The New York City Landmark Preservation Commission is reviewing a proposal for façade renovations and and alterations to 83 and 85 Chambers Street, adjoining five-story residential buildings in Tribeca, Manhattan. The proposal was assembled by GreenbergFarrow for United American Land LLC, and was presented to the LPC on March 5, 2024.
