Foundation work is underway at 19 Rockwell Place, the site of a 27-story residential building in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Designed by Daniel Goldner Architects for Chesky Rosen under the 19 Rockwell Place LLC, the 304-foot-tall structure will yield 172 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts spread across 120,000 square feet. Elliot Lazarus from New York Developers & Management is overseeing construction and Stephanie Andrews from MNS is in charge of leasing for the project, which is situated between Fulton Street and Dekalb Avenue.
Governor Hochul Announces Completion of Maspeth Park in Queens
Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the opening of Maspeth Park, a $17.8 million project in Queens. This new facility is the first of its kind in the western part of Maspeth, located near the Kosciuszko Bridge at the intersection of 43rd Street and 54th Road. Designed by Node Architecture Engineering and Consulting P.C., which took over from Badaly Architects, and developed by L&A Development, the 37-foot-tall structure yields 16 rental units spread across 12,171 square feet. The property is located between Barnes and Bronxwood Avenues, near the 225 Street subway station.
