Silverstein Properties has announced that Ekimetrics, a global technology company offering data science and AI-powered solutions, has signed a ten-year lease for 24,367 square feet at the landmarked Equitable Building, located at 120 Broadway in Manhattan’s Financial District. This move marks the relocation of Ekimetrics’ sole US office from 155 West 23rd Street to the historic skyscraper’s 29th floor.
Revel, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, recently announced plans to develop the largest public EV fast charging station by an airport in the US. The station will be located at 90-10 Ditmars Boulevard in East Elmhurst, Queens, near LaGuardia Airport, and is being built in partnership with Barone Management.
Renderings have been revealed for a new biomedical research building on Columbia University‘s medical campus in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the eight-story structure will house biomedical research and lab facilities, as well as symposium and community spaces for the university’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. The property is located at the corner of Audubon Avenue and 167th Street.
Creation, a commercial real estate developer, and its joint-venture partner J.P. Morgan Asset Management, have begun site work on McClellan One, a Class A logistics building in Newark, New Jersey. The project team recently secured a $64 million construction loan from PCCP, allowing construction to move forward on the 120,584-square-foot structure, which is located on a 10-acre site at the northwest corner of Route 1 and McClellan Street, adjacent to Newark Liberty International Airport.
