Renovation Plan And Funding Announced For The Brownsville Recreation Center In Brownsville, Brooklyn

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Deputy Mayor for Operations Meera Joshi, and New York City Department of Parks and Recreation Commissioner Sue Donoghue recently announced a renovation and investment plan for the Brownsville Recreation Center at 1555 Linden Boulevard in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The plan sets aside $160 million to fully rebuild the 70-year-old building and is a part of New York City’s $112.4 billion fiscal year 2025 adopted budget.

Simone Development Companies and Fareri Associates have announced that Summit Health, a physician-led, patient-centric healthcare network, has signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion at 644 West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut. The agreement will see Summit Health renew its existing 14,243-square-foot space on the ground and second floors while adding an additional 5,610 square feet on the second floor, bringing the total leased space to 19,853 square feet.

New Lease Signed At 29-37 41st Avenue In Long Island City, Queens

The Durst Organization recently announced that Pueblo Querido Coffee Roasters, a Colombian coffee proprietor and restaurant, has opened its first Queens location on the ground floor of Sven, a residential tower at 29-37 41st Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Pueblo Querido is joining Finback Brewery and ACA Acupuncture and Wellness, the other ground-floor tenants of the 71-story property.
