New renderings have been revealed for a new multifamily residential building at 29-15 40th Road in Long Island City, Queens. The project, which is being led by SB Development, will stand 12 stories tall when complete and was designed by Fogarty Finger Architects.

Garden Towers Apartments, a 149-unit affordable senior housing development, recently completed construction in Morrisania, The Bronx. The development, which is made up of two residential buildings located at 1323 Boston Road and 1332 Clinton Avenue, was designed by Newman Design Architects. It was developed by Foxy Management working in partnership with HANAC Inc and JLD Advisory LLC.

New Immersive Studio Opens At Hoboken Connect In Hoboken, New Jersey

LCOR has opened a “280-degree immersive room” created by immersive experience studio Pixel Artworks to market the forthcoming Hoboken Connect mixed-use development in Hoboken, New Jersey. The project plans to feature a residential tower and an office building, along with new public space across a nearly 2-acre footprint near the Hoboken Terminal.

Bid Process Opens for Lexington Avenue Armory Modernization in Rose Hill, Manhattan

Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that the Office of General Services is accepting bids for the $100 million renovation of the Lexington Avenue Armory at 68 Lexington Avenue in Rose Hill, Manhattan. The project aims to modernize the historic early-20th century building, making it suitable for a 21st-century military force.

Mott Haven Marketplace Opens At The Estela In Mott Haven, Bronx

Locally owned deli and grocery Mott Haven Marketplace has opened at The Estela, a two-building residential development in Mott Haven, Bronx. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed by Domain Companies, the property is located at 414 Gerard Avenue and 445 Gerard Avenue and yields 544 units, with 164 designated for affordable housing. The 1,950 square foot marketplace is located at 445 Gerard Avenue.

Agreement Reached To Transform The Brooklyn Marine Terminal In Red Hook, Brooklyn

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have announced a project that will transform the 122-acre Brooklyn Marine Terminal into a modern port and mixed-use community hub in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The project is projected to create thousands of jobs and generate substantial economic impact. The city will invest $80 million to stabilize piers and $15 million for the addition of an electrified container crane. Beyond that, Governor Hochul has committed $15 million from state funds for a cold storage facility to be constructed.

Brooklyn Fare Grocery Opens at One Manhattan Square on Manhattan’s Lower East Side

Brooklyn Fare Kitchen & Market has opened its newest location at the base of One Manhattan Square, an 80-story residential skyscraper at 225 Cherry Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. At 25,500 square feet, this is the largest location to date for the grocery store.

School Of Rock Inks New Lease At 300 Huntington Street In Gowanus, Brooklyn

School of Rock, a music education school, signed a 3,000-square-foot lease at 300 Huntington Street, a commercial property in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The project, which recently completed construction, was led by Monadnock Development and was designed in collaboration between Dattner Architects and Bernheimer Architecture. School of Rock plans to occupy the space with an interactive music education center by summer 2024.

Leasing has launched for One Domino Square, a 55-story residential building nearing completion at 5 South 5th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Selldorf Architects and developed by Two Trees Management, the tower is located on the Domino Sugar Factory site and yields 398 units in studio to three-bedroom layouts, with 120 designated for affordable housing. The property is bound by South 5th Street to the south, Kent Avenue to the east, and River Street to the west.

Design Team Unveiled For SPARC Life Science And Public Health Innovation Hub In Kips Bay, Manhattan

The New York City Economic Development Corporation announced Ennead Architects and Dattner Architects will design the new Science Park and Research Campus (SPARC) Kips Bay, Manhattan. The project plans to create a new life sciences hub located on Hunter College’s Brookdale Campus at First Avenue and East 25th Street.
