Professional services company Turner & Townsend has signed a 12-year lease for 24,394 square feet at 100 Park Avenue, a 36-story office tower in Midtown, Manhattan. The lease covers the entire sixth floor of the 905,000-square-foot building, bringing it to full occupancy. The property is located between East 40th and 41st Streets.
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) has closed on $92.5 million in financing for the renovation of Campos Plaza II, a two-building residential development in Manhattan’s East Village. The project, part of NYCHA’s Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) initiative, will modernize 224 apartments housing more than 450 residents. Development partners L+M Development Partners, Type A Projects, and Henge Development will lead the rehabilitation.
On Monday, city officials celebrated the opening of the Shirley Chisholm Recreation Center, a $141 million community facility at 3105 Farragut Place in the Little Haiti section of East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Developed by the NYC Department of Design and Construction using the design-build method, the 74,000-square-foot center is expected to serve more than 41,000 residents living within a 15-minute walk or transit ride.
Edifice Partners LLC has secured $19 million in financing for the Edifice Portfolio, a group of five renovated multifamily properties located in Brooklyn. The Edifice Portfolio consists of 42 residential units spread across five pre-war buildings at 431–433 Wythe Avenue and 313 South 4th Street in Williamsburg, and 19–21 Columbia Place in Brooklyn Heights. JLL Capital Markets arranged the financing from City National Bank.
JLL Capital Markets has announced the refinancing of QLIC, a residential tower at 41-42 24th Street in Long Island City, Queens. Developed by World Wide Group and Rabina, the 21-story structure yields 421 units. The refinancing package totaled $160.25 million and came from global investment firm KKR. The property is located between 41st Avenue and Queens Plaza North.
