Orchard Beach Pavilion has reopened at Orchard Beach in The Bronx’s Pelham Bay Park following a $114 million reconstruction project. The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is set to review a proposal for a new mixed-use building at 122-124 Greenpoint Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by OPerA Studio, the project would replace a one-story structure at 122 Greenpoint Avenue and redevelop an existing former firehouse building at 124 Greenpoint Avenue, retaining its limestone front façade. If approved, the new development would contain ten residential units and ground-floor commercial space. The property is located between Manhattan Avenue and Franklin Street.
