JLL Capital Markets has arranged a $40 million refinancing for 99 Hudson Street, a 183,958-square-foot office building in Tribeca, Manhattan. The borrower is an affiliate of Olshan Properties, a privately held real estate investment firm. Built in 1930, the 17-story Class B office building has been owned by Olshan since 1983. The property is located at the corner of Hudson and Franklin Streets.
The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is reviewing an application for 1184 Dean Street, a three-story residential building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Built in 1931, the property contains eight residential units. The current proposal seeks approval for the replacement of existing street-facing façade windows as part of a preservation-focused scope of work.
Restoration work is complete on Hunterfly Road Houses at the Weeksville Heritage Center in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The $4 million city-funded project was led by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York City Department of Design and Construction, and began in the fall of 2024. The 19th-century wood-frame houses are the last remaining structures of Weeksville, one of the nation’s largest free Black communities before the Civil War.
Construction is underway on a two-building, 58,000-square-foot retail expansion of Cross County Center, an open-air shopping complex at 8000 Mall Walk in Yonkers, Westchester County. The 1.15 million-square-foot property opened in 1954 with 30 stores. The expansion was designed by TPG Architecture and is being developed by Marx Realty.
The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is reviewing a proposal for modifications to 317 Jefferson Avenue, a three-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Gerald J. Caliendo Architects, the project consists of a vertical enlargement and rear yard extension to the existing rowhouse, along with its conversion into a two-family dwelling. The proposal was presented at a public hearing on February 24.
