LPC Reviewing Façade Renovation Proposal For 83-85 Chambers Street In Tribeca, Manhattan

The New York City Landmark Preservation Commission is reviewing a proposal for façade renovations and and alterations to 83 and 85 Chambers Street, adjoining five-story residential buildings in Tribeca, Manhattan. Both buildings feature eight units and extend from Chambers Street to Reade Street, on the other side of the block. The proposal was assembled by GreenbergFarrow for United American Land LLC, and was presented to the LPC on March 5, 2024.

LPC Reviews Proposal For Artwork At 530 Broadway In Soho, Manhattan

The New York City Landmark Preservation Commission is reviewing a proposal for a new mural on the north wall of 530 Broadway, an 11-story office building in Soho, Manhattan. The property, managed by SHVO, is composed of three buildings that were adjoined in 2021: 530 Broadway, 532-534 Broadway, and 536-538 Broadway. The combined structure stands at the northeast corner of Broadway and Spring Street.

Simone Development Companies Announces New Lease At One Executive Boulevard in Yonkers

Simone Development Companies announced a new medical lease by SightMD at One Executive Boulevard in Yonkers. Originally built in 1982, the four-story, 133,768-square-foot office building was acquired by Simone in December 2023 and is currently undergoing renovations to attract medical tenants, of which SightMD is the first.

$24.7 Million Secured For Affordable Housing Development In Jamaica, Queens

LISC NY and MURAL Real Estate Partners have finalized a $24.7 million construction loan for two projects on Hillside Avenue between 161st Street and 162nd Street in Jamaica, Queens. The funding, which is the largest in LISC NY’s history, will help to construct more than 230 affordable housing units and approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space in Jamaica.

311 Eastern Parkway Tops Out in Crown Heights, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out at 311 Eastern Parkway, a new eight-story residential building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. When complete, the project will stand 75 feet tall and boast five condominium units across eight floors. The project was designed by Bowerbird Architects and is being developed by Harpia, a Brooklyn-based company with a focus on sustainability and impact investing.

Financial Incentives Approved For 906-Unit Teutonia Hall at 4 Buena Vista Avenue In Yonkers

The Yonkers Industrial Development Agency recently finalized its approval for financial incentives to support the construction of Teutonia Hall, a residential development consisting of two 41-story towers at 4 Buena Vista Avenue in Yonkers. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed by AMS Acquisitions, the $458 million project will yield 906 residential units, with 91 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 2,900 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a 907-vehicle parking garage within the six-story podium at the base of the towers.

Developers Secure Refinancing for The Yellowstone at 69-65 Yellowstone Boulevard in Forest Hills, Queens

Slate Property Group, in collaboration with Grobman Gross Properties, has finalized a $97 million refinancing deal for The Yellowstone, a recently completed 11-story residential building at 69-65 Yellowstone Boulevard in Forest Hills, Queens. The refinancing, which will be provided by Apollo Global Real Estate Management L.P., will be used to settle the building’s existing debts and support its financial structure.

LPC To Review Proposal For New York Life Insurance Company Building In Tribeca, Manhattan

The New York Landmark Preservation Commission is set to review a proposal for renovations to the New York Life Insurance Company Building at 108 Leonard Street in Tribeca, Manhattan. Designed by VIQ Architecture, the plans involve modifications to the Jack Shainman Gallery, which occupies the first three floors of the 13-story primarily residential building. The property was formally known as 346 Broadway and is alternately addressed as 46 Lafayette Street, where the entrance to the gallery is located.

50 Main Street At City Square Welcomes Nine New Tenants In White Plains

Stevenson Square Breaks Ground at 755 White Plains Road in Soundview, The Bronx

Community leaders and elected officials celebrated the groundbreaking for Phase One of Stevenson Square, a new affordable housing development at 755 White Plains Road in Soundview, The Bronx. Spearheaded by Camber Property Group, this first phase will involve two projects: a multifamily rental building for seniors and a homeownership complex with affordable co-ops, both of which were designed by WXY Architecture. The broader Stevenson Square development, which plans to create nearly 1,000 affordable units in total, represents is a $1 billion investment in the Soundview neighborhood.
