A new 18-story tower could take shape at the busy intersection of Atlantic and Vanderbilt Avenues in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The development site comprises seven neighboring lots and is referred to as 840 Atlantic Avenue.

Before construction can begin, the agency must approve up-zoned text amendments to permit the construction of a tall, dense multifamily building.
J Frankl Associates has released the first exterior renderings of a new 18-story residential building in Astoria, Queens. Located at 26-25 Fourth Street, the building will contain 165 apartments and a suite of amenity spaces that include on-site parking, a communal lounge, fitness and co-working facilities, a children’s playroom, and multiple outdoor areas.
Renderings from THINK Architecture & Design were recently presented to the Department of City Planning in lengthy proposals to rezone a busy corner of Far Rockaway, Queens. The project comprises two adjacent parcels on Beach 67th and 68th Streets between Thursby Avenue and Beach Channel Drive. “Development Site 1” sits mid-block on Beach 67th Street and comprises six neighboring lots. “Development Site 2” is a through-block lot on Beach 68th Street with additional frontage along Beach 67th Street. Zoning amendments are required to facilitate all construction.
The Jersey City Housing Authority is preparing to launch the nation’s first municipal vertical farming program in an effort to provide free, nutritious food to vulnerable communities. The Vertical Farming Program will consist of ten vertical farms throughout Jersey City.
