Oxford Properties has sold St. John’s Terminal to Google for $2.1 billion. Located at 550 Washington Street in Hudson Square, the terminal property is designed by COOKFOX and developed by Oxford Properties and will serve as the anchor of Google’s new corporate campus, which comprises 1.7 million square feet along with two additional sites at 315 Hudson Street and 345 Hudson Street.

Finalists Announced for Governors Island’s Center for Climate Solutions Design Competition

The Trust for Governors Island has revealed four universities and design teams that will move forward in a design competition to construct and operate a new climate research and educational complex on the southern tip of the island. Elected officials recently celebrated the opening of a new COVID-19 testing and vaccination center at Astoria Houses. Located at 4-25 Astoria Boulevard in Astoria, Queens, the facility sits inside repurposed shipping containers and was designed in partnership by research teams from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and The Tuchman Foundation.
