The New York City Department of Buildings recently approved applications to construct a new 30-story mixed-use property at 3875 Ninth Avenue in Manhattan. The development is located at the waterfront edge of Inwood and will create over 600 units of affordable and middle-income housing, roughly 62,000 square feet of retail space positioned on the lower levels of the building, and 122 parking spaces.
Leasing is now underway for Plank Road, a 27-story residential building at 662 Pacific Street in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by The Brodsky Organization, the structure yields 312 rental units that range from studios to two-bedroom accommodations.
The Department of City Planning (DCP) is now reviewing proposals to construct two new affordable housing properties for seniors and a charter school in Arvene, Queens, a waterfront neighborhood on the Rockaway Peninsula. The proposed buildings will take shape along Beach 67th Street between Beach Channel Drive and Thursby Avenue.
