The Hudson County Improvement Authority has revealed new renderings of a sprawling courthouse complex designed by award-winning architect Rafael Viñoly. Set to debut in Jersey City by 2023, the Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex will replace the existing Hudson County Administration Building at 595 Newark Avenue with a mix of judicial spaces and public grounds.

The proposed site is located at 1620 Cortelyou Road and currently supports a mix of commercial businesses including a Key Foods supermarket, a laundromat, a take-out restaurant, and a small deli.
Construction is currently underway on Sam Chang’s most recent hotel project in Midtown Manhattan. Located at 150 West 48th Street, the 34-story building will contain 974 guest rooms, ranking it among the largest hotels to debut in the city this decade.
Journal Square Urby will soon break ground following approvals from Jersey City’s Division of Planning. Located at 571-577 Pavonia Avenue, the building will rise 25 stories and contain a mix of rental apartments, amenity spaces, and dedicated office space for the on-site leasing team.
