New York-based ODA Architecture has revealed another playfully designed residential building, at 310 East 86th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Reminiscent of the firm’s previous commissions, which are characterized by expressive cubic design language, this new development features a series of boxy setbacks and graceful cantilevers that incorporate private outdoor spaces on the upper levels.
Alloy Development has officially launched sales at 168 Plymouth Street following the transformation and redevelopment of two aging industrial buildings in the heart of the DUMBO Historic District. The new property contains a collection of 46 residences that draw clear influence from the area’s industrial past.

The Italianate-style structure, originally completed in 1880 as a factory for the Masury Paint Company, was recently converted into a rental apartment building.
Earlier this year, Porcelanosa Group revealed its plans to renovate and expand its existing flagship location at 202-204 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan’s historic Flatiron District. Following an expanded visibility study, the ceramics manufacturer has returned to the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) with revised proposals that reduce street-surface views of the building’s rooftop mechanicals.
