Last week Camber Property Group and Westhab announced the topping out of 913 East Tremont Avenue, a 100-percent affordable rental development in The Bronx’s West Farms neighborhood. Components of the 11-story, 98,846-square-foot development include 119 housing units and 6,500 square feet of commercial space. The building is designed by Aufgang Architects and is being constructed by SD Builders.

The affordable housing lottery is open for Fulton Street Apartments, two four-story mixed-use buildings developed by Aron Schwartz in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. 2741 Fulton Street is designed by Diego Aguilera Architects. The ten-unit building will yield 11,233 square feet with three units designated as affordable housing. Available on NYC Housing Connect is a one-bedroom and two two-bedroom units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $66,858 to $159,640. 2746 Fulton Street is designed by Studio Gallos. The nine-unit building will yield 9,409 square feet with one unit designated as affordable housing. Available on NYC Housing Connect is one two-bedroom units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $82,286 to $159,640.

Affordable Senior Housing Coming to 31-07 31st Street in Astoria, Queens

A new mixed-use development with 100 percent affordable senior housing will be built at 31-07 31st Street in Astoria, Queens. Development team HANAC and Mega Development were chosen by the city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development to bring 135 affordable senior homes, a community center, and commercial space to the city-owned site. The proposal is part of HPD’s Seniors First initiative, with a goal to serve 30,000 senior households by 2026.
