Available on NYC Housing Connect are a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units for residents at 50 to 60 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $26,023 to $84,600.

100 Affordable Housing Units Coming to Former Public School 90 in Flatbush, Brooklyn

This week, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) released a call for developers to build affordable housing and a community facility space in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The city-owned vacant site at 2286 Church Avenue was formerly occupied by Public School 90. Preliminary plans for the 29,000-square-foot property call for approximately 100 affordable housing units and a community center with youth educational and vocational programming.

Friday Housing Lottery Round-Up: Closings Imminent For Six Buildings in The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens

The housing lottery closes in six days for Arthur Avenue Senior Apartments, a nine-story senior living development at 600 East 179th Street in Tremont, The Bronx. Developed by Foxy Management in partnership with Hebrew Home at Riverdale under HPD’s Senior Affordable Rental Apartments program and designed by SLCE Architects, the building has 122 apartments available on NYC Housing Connect at 30 to 50 percent of the area median income, ranging from $0 to $51,200.
